Title: Strategic competence: What is it, how to teach it, and how to assess it
Presenter: Javier Salzar, University of Tsukuba
Javier has over 10 years of experience teaching English in Japan throughout all education levels (kindergarten to graduate level), and his teaching approach is centered around learner’s development. His research interests include: self regulated learning, active learning, strategic competence development, gamification and the use of humor in the classroom.2. Business Meeting (not this time)
